Being Marie's birthday, it just seemed right to post this today. I wrote it for my friend because she asked for it, otherwise, there might not have been a story written. I'm so grateful she asked. I needed to write it.

- I am April. I am a daughter and a sister, a wife and a mother, a friend and a teacher. I am a woman. and I am learning to find joy in everything that is woman. (although I'm fairly convinced that periods never have and never will bring joy. only their absence makes me happy or maybe it just makes me more anxious for their impending, and in my case unpredictable, arrival. feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.) =)
